Tue, June 23, 2009 - 11:13 PMAlex, you gotta see this flick. Keep an eye out for all the peripheral Raimi sarcasm going on in the background. This was Evil Dead lite, but it was definitely in the same vein. The crowd loved it and i was no exception.
Hang in there kitty!!

Re: Drag Me To Hell
Thu, June 4, 2009 - 8:39 PMI loved it. It was very old school Raimi. The audience enjoyed it a lot. Lots of "Holy Shit!" "ROFLMAO" and "Ewwwwwwws" thru out the movie.
****Spoiler****
If nothing else the part where she fought the old lady in the car and the false teeth went flying was worth it. That and when the old lady gummed her. -

Re: Drag Me To Hell
Mon, June 8, 2009 - 1:24 AMit wasn't raimi's best, in part because it missed that edgy comic twist that bruce campbell embodied so well. -

But I admit, I was really hoping to see a cameo from Bruce Campbell or at least Ted Raimer (Joxer the Mighty, He's very tidy)

Re: Drag Me To Hell
Mon, June 22, 2009 - 4:13 PMSo I took my bestest movie buddy to see it. This was the 2nd time for me and it was just as fun as the 1st time. I enjoyed my buddie's review.
She writes:
I gotta tell you. I love "Drag Me To Hell." For those who haven't seen it, if you liked Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, you will love this flick. Funny, gross, scary and gross. I said gross twice for a reason. It's comforting to see that Raimi's still got it. The movie was edited flawlessly and the scares executed perfectly. And the absurdity, oh the sweet cheesy absurdity! Absurdity is what makes life grand, isn't it? I can't wait to see it again. We will definitely have to have a DVD release party.
"Here, kitty, kitty......" Classic.
