I was sorely disappointed....
It just doesn't make sense to me that you would have such a high profile of really well known talented actors/actresses and not give them more to do in the movie.
It didn't follow the story line that was posted on IMbd I had read last year. It didn't answer anything toward a prequel to Aliens, in fact raised a whole new slew of questions...
Sure Noomi Rapace and Micheal Fassbender did a great job, and unfortunately I felt it was it was more so focused on Fassbender's character. He did an awesome job but it was such a waste of the other talents that was available from the rest of the cast.
It left me feeling I was being short changed and I would have to wait for the sequel to see the rest of the movie...
There are other points to make but that would give spoilers, it is still a film worth seeing, IMHO.

Now the good points....
Glad I saw it in 2D, the quality was beautiful and not so distracting as 3D can do. It is definitely a film to be enjoyed on big screen for the creative direction and art work, it itself was a joy to experience in the theater.

Yes Heather I like many others felt excitement as you did.
I took my son and we watched in 3d.

How can a director do that to one of his master films? Its like in all those years he has learnt nothing?
The first film is so good and stands the test of time, its moody and atmospheric and believable and great cast with memorable dialogue.

Can I remember any thing now about Promethious, are yes, just how bad it was!
