I'm watching "The Second World War in Colour," just finished Part 1 of 3, at this point in the doc the Nazis are fighting in the East and the Bolsheviks and Winter are kicking their asses.

Highly recommend it, I was on the verge of tears a few times already. Here's a quote from the documentary.

I thought to myself how far I have traveled already because of the war. We have captured a number of towns along the coast, but quite often I felt very sad when I saw how many beautiful buildings have been destroyed. Looking at all the corpses, you start hating this war. And here we are fighting yet more wars that are claiming millions of lives and solving nothing.
