Looks like it is going to be the most action packed Terminator so far. I'm excited to finally see some extended future battles rather than just glimpses.

T movies are classics. I'd be totally shocked if this one sucked. Terminator movies just don't suck. Period. Theyre all badass. I can't wait to see this. I just recently heard about it like a week or two ago. Maybe last week. Something cool to look forward to. I wonder who will be on the soundtrack. I hope Rob Zombie. I am so sick of all the tired assed Linkin' Park wanna be bands.

It was everything I wanted it to be, since I had no expectations.
    **No spoilers**
The trailers didn't ruin it for me either.
It had some surprises and it even injected some humor from time to time.

All I want to say now is, it kicked ass!

Star Trek is still the best movie of the summer hands down.

Terminator was cheap, and cheesy in all the wrong places.

This is a film that I would say makes no sense to people unfamiliar with the franchise.

      This movie was absolutely horrible.

Every time they referenced the previous films with a catch line, it was as though they were staring into the camera's lens, going, "Eh? Didja hear me say that line from that other movie? huh? Clever, ain't I?"

The direction was completely piecemeal and haphazard, making no sense even within individual scenes. When more of you have seen it, I'll make specific complaints, of which I have many.

But Moon Bloodgood is one hell of a woman.

I enjoyed it. It did a good job of making me feel like "Oh Sh!t" in all the scenes of human vs. machine. It maintained the atmosphere of the 1st 2 terminators. I certainly liked it better than the 3rd. However, the filming was a bit of a strain on the eyes. That grainy old film clip effect got old after about 10 minutes.

    **spoiler**

Did they cgi Schwarzennegr into the end from T1? It looked just like his younger incarnation of the Terminator.

The terminator left Connor in the back seat in this one. He was the star, and the person/machine I cared about more than anyone else.

      ********SPOILERS***********

When Arnold nearly killed him, I remembered that he told him he would in the earlier movie.
      Yet I was still stunned.
I guess we wait and see if there will be any tissue rejection.

Oh, and Connor's wife is pregnant.
Any hub-bub on the next sequel?

Man o man, I feel like i just saw an episode of Stargate SG1 on a lazy afternoon in syndication. No language, no steamy love scenes, no real back story and some real freakin' cardboard for acting chops. I didnt care a damn about anyone in the whole film but the Terminator.

        Blech.

They woulda done way better to run the crew straight off the Sarah Connor Chronicles. At least then I woulda given a shit about the characters.

          >I didnt care a damn about anyone in the whole film but the Terminator.<

That about sums it up for me. I felt that all the characters were just glossed over except the Terminator. I would have expected more John Connor but this is set before he truly takes command of the human resistance so he isn't a big presence in the war just yet. To me this is a primer for the rest of the series and it reminds me of how Batman Begins was. Kinda an intro into the real story. Epilogue.
